Croyde is a picture postcard village with its golden sandy beach, a selection of restaurants, pubs and shops, with an opportunity to try a wide range of water sports in walking distance. On either side of the village are more beaches where the sand, sea and surf can be enjoyed, Woolacombe, Saunton and Putsborough being some of the options open to you. Walkers will be spoilt for choice with direct access onto the South West Coast Path, from Croyde, taking you across the spectacular headland to Baggy Point, Exmoor National Park is within easy reach by car. Other attractions and places of interest nearby include the links golf course at Saunton, Barnstaple with its market and high street shops, Exmoor Zoo, Ilfracombe and Lynton and Lynmouth are also worth a visit. Stepping into this Grade II listed barn you are immediately focused on the quality of the conversion and the attention to detail as well as a luxurious yet relaxed feel. All the rooms are spacious and warm with underfloor heating and are bright and airy. After a day exploring the area step down into the snug/sitting room with exposed beams, feature fireplace and wood burner ideal for cooler evenings or winter weekend breaks, this room has some of the workings of the original cider press and mixes the contemporary and traditional for maximum comfort and convenience. Relax on the comfy sofas and watch TV or your favourite movie on the DVD. Prepare a snack or family meal in the impressive and well equipped kitchen/diner with two electric ovens and gas hobs, wine cooler, microwave, large fridge and dishwasher, central island with freezer. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, off this is a useful ground floor WC. Enjoy a morning coffee or al fresco meal on the terrace looking out onto the courtyard and garden. Heading upstairs from the entrance hall you will find three of the four bedrooms. Two steps down from the landing leads you to an open plan king size bedroom with sensor lighting, freestanding bath and WC. The second is a double bedroom with high apex feature window with views over the surrounding fields and an en suite shower room with shower and WC. Lastly there is a twin bedroom and finishing off the accommodation in the main barn is a stylish and spacious family bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower and WC. Heading outside across the courtyard is a separate annexe which houses studio style open plan lounge/sleeping area and en suite wet room. The lounge area with wood burner, a king size bed in the bedroom area at one end and at the other end is the wet room area with shower and WC. This building also has exposed beams and underfloor heating and provides a great retreat for independent teenagers, couples with a baby or those who just want a bit more privacy. Stepping into the courtyard at the far end is steps to the raised lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ lodge. There is ample off road parking for up to five cars. Please note that the neighbouring property has shared access to the drive and their parking space.
