Upcott House is a superbly presented Victorian, detached house, set in its own grounds, with fantastic views out to sea, on the edge of the seaside town of Seaton in Devon. Upcott Lodge (ref UKC3103) sits just behind Upcott House (ref UKC3102). These two well-furnished cottages lie in their own grounds and have contemporary styles, making them perfect for families and friends to come together and make the most of this truly incredible part of England. Both cottages are nicely furnished with comfortable living areas, well-equipped kitchens and incredible views. They both come with well-kept lawned gardens, perfect for the adults to sit and relax with a cold drink whilst the children run and play in the sun. The cottages are just a 10-minute walk from the beach at Seaton which has an extensive sandy beach with a range of cafés, bars and even an amusement arcade to keep everybody entertained.
The town of Seaton is one of the best on the south coast. It has a variety of shops and restaurants as well as the Seaton Jurassic Experience and with beautiful scenery, it really has something for everybody. The town is engulfed by the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and if you fancy exploring the hills and forests, it is seemingly endless. Seaton faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby and a sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site. Beach 300 yards. Shop, restaurant and pub ½ mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests.
