Bring the whole family to this joyful townhouse for a fun-packed seaside getaway, whilst enjoying sweeping panoramas across Swanage bay. Sitting on a hill overlooking the town and beach, this holiday home is the perfect weekend or weekly getaway for large groups or families who want to be close to the beach and local attractions, and for those looking for homely, cosy, and modest accommodation with plenty of room.
This homely house is set over 3 floors, and accommodates 10 or 11 guests in 4 bedrooms.
The ground floor brings you into the hallway with storage containing cushions for outside furniture and beach items for guest use during your stay. A staircase leads up to the kitchen and open-plan style dining lounge area — with a large table for mealtimes, and ample seating for chatting and relaxing after a long day.
The kitchen features a Belfast sink, range style oven, dishwasher, and coffee machine, and comes well-equipped with utensils, crockery, pots & pans — for guests who enjoy cooking before or after a day on the beach.
The lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating and an electric fire, perfect for the colder months. The whole area is ideal for sitting around together, enjoying the widescreen TV, whilst admiring the sights of Swanage out of the large bay window.
On the second floor is a laundry room with washing machine and the first pair of bedrooms. This includes a large kingsize bedroom with modern en-suite shower room and sea views. The second bedroom consists of two sets of bunk beds and en-suite bath, perfect for younger guests in the party needing a wash after a day spent on the golden sands of Swanage beach!
On the top floor is a kingsize bedroom with ensuite shower room and breath-taking views of Swanage town, the beach, and the surrounding hills below. The second bedroom of this floor has a bunk bed with a small double (that could accommodate either one or two people) on the bottom bunk, and a single bed on top - and completed with an ensuite shower room.
Outside seating at the front of the property includes a large table and chairs with cushions, for those warm summer evenings.
Please note: The top floor bunk bedroom accommodates either two or three people - dependent if two people sleep on the double mattress element of the bunk bed, in addition to the single mattress on the top bunk. There is also a travel cot available for infants.
Located in Swanage, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the beach. Anvil Point Lighthouse and Scaplen’s Court Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Dorset and East Devon Coast and Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sandbanks Beach and The Blue Pool and Tea House are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
