Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Pink House is nestled in the quiet, picturesque village of East Lulworth, just a stone's throw from historic Lulworth Castle and the annual summer festival that is Camp Bestival.
Perfectly positioned for walking, cycling, relaxing and sightseeing it's just three kilometres from the famous horseshoe shaped Lulworth Cove and the sweeping beaches of the Purbecks, including Durdle Door, Man 'O' War, St Oswald's and Mupe Bay.
This spectacular Jurassic Coastline, now declared a World Heritage Site, is accessible via footpaths from the house and here you can enjoy breathtaking coastal walks, swimming, snorkeling, picnics, fishing, kayaking, photography, or just lazing on the beach with friends and family.
The house itself is spacious and homely with a large open plan lounge/dining area, wood burning stove as well as cosy underfloor heating, comfortable furniture and modern essentials such as WiFi, smart TV, DVD and stereo etc. French double doors (from the dining area) open directly onto the paved patio which leads up to the garden with outdoor seating, lawn/play area, fruit trees, flowers, BBQ and herbs for cooking. Adjacent to the lounge is a snug/study area with another wood burning stove, double sofa bed, well stocked library of vintage paperbacks, local guidebooks and walking/touring maps of Dorset.
The country style kitchen affords tranquil views to the back as well as everything you need for your convenience self catering with friends and family. Recently updated with slate quarry tiles it has underfloor heating, contemporary fitted kitchen, oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms with good sized double beds and quality mattresses, as well as pure cotton sheets, feather duvets and pillows.
The bathroom has a large free standing classic Victorian claw foot bath with traditional roll top slipper, matching taps, shower, sink and separate WC.
Throughout the house there are many personal touches including handmade mosaic mirrors, beachcomber mobiles of driftwood and glass, recycled objets d'art and other memorabilia collected from our travels.
