This beautiful barn is set in a 2 acre garden just outside the village of Capel Dewi. There are countryside walks available from the front door and the quiet roads are popular with cycling enthusiasts. The village of Llandysul is just over 4 miles away; the village and the surrounding areas offer a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. If you would like to visit the coast while you're here, the popular coastal town of New Quay is 12 miles away why not take a boat trip and see if you can spot the dolphins in Cardigan Bay? As you enter the converted barn, you are welcomed into an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge is a cosy space, with an L shaped sofa and a wood burner to enjoy on cooler evenings. Curl up and enjoy a night in watching the TV in front of the fire after a day of exploring. This dog friendly property has even provided a cosy spot for your four legged friends next to the fire too. To the rear of the lounge, there is a dining table where you can enjoy your meals or to get back to basics and play board or card games in the tranquil setting. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, and all the basic necessities you should need to prepare a meal. Through to the back of the property, you will find a utility room complete with a freezer, washing machine, and a dressing area with a mirror, drawers, and hanging space for clothes. There is also the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The bedroom, with its king size bed, is accessed via a wooden ladder onto the mezzanine floor level above; this cosy sanctuary is a great space to unwind and get a good night's sleep. Externally, there is a patio garden for guests to enjoy. The patio is fully enclosed making it safe for your dog off lead and there is a bistro set provided and a charcoal BBQ available on request, so you can dine alfresco should you wish. Outside of the patio, there are 2 acres of garden to explore with woodland, an area of lawn with sun and shade, and seating scattered along the way. Spend an evening up at the firepit before heading back downhill towards the barn. The hot tub, set on its own terrace with loungers, is always available to guests but shared with the owners guests can book exclusive use at times that they want guaranteed privacy. There is off road parking available for 2 cars and a caravan/trailer if required.
