Located near the desirable historic town of Winchelsea, the property is within easy reach of the local pub, shop and medieval church. Winchelsea Beach is just a short drive away where guests can enjoy long walks along the pebbled seafront before enjoying a bite to eat in the cafe. The medieval town of Rye is less than three miles away, which boasts independent cafes, shops and restaurants offering freshly caught seafood and collectable antiques, and for those wishing to explore slightly further afield, Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens and nearby Hastings make for great family days out. Situated on National Cycle Route 2 and an abundance of local footpaths make this the perfect location for keen walkers and cyclists. The front door opens into a large porch where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes. Outside, a pretty courtyard garden with charcoal BBQ and table, chairs and a parasol is the perfect place for enjoying the sunshine and the cottage offers private parking for one car. A second parking space can be made available by arrangement.
