This property is located on the edge of the stunning Snowdonia National Park, surrounded by a breath taking mountainous landscape, which provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying scenic walks as well as more challenging outdoor pursuits such as climbing, abseiling, and hiking. The historic town of Dolgellau lies eleven miles from the property, and offers a good range of shops, pubs, bars, and bistros. Some twenty miles west of the property, the seaside resort of Barmouth is a home to a wide sandy beach that rarely gets busy even in the height of summer, and offers traditional seaside fun such as donkey rides, amusement arcades, and swing boats. Approaching this property up the sweeping driveway, guests cannot help but feel that they are entering their own private retreat. Once inside, the elegant lounge is a wonderful space in which to relax and while away the evenings enjoying the company of family and friends, chatting, cosying up in front of the warming wood burner, or watching a film on the TV/DVD. For leisurely meals, celebratory lunches, or hearty breakfasts, the separate dining room has a huge table which sits next to an open fire, so no one is going to want to rush off at the end dinner. A second, smaller, dining area can be found in the kitchen, which is a well equipped room offering both an AGA and a conventional oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms, all of which benefit from en suite facilities. The first two of these are king size rooms, both offering an inviting roll top bath, separate shower, and WC. The third bedroom is another king size with an en suite bath and WC, with the fourth and fifth bedrooms both being single rooms, one with an en suite bathroom offering a shower over bath and WC, the other with an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. The outdoor space that this property offers is not only spacious, offering over two miles of private riverside grounds, but is also beautifully tended and well appointed, with its own arboretum, a patio seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ, and a sumptuous hot tub where guests are invited to soothe away their stresses whilst enjoying the views across the gardens.
