This sweet and inviting cottage has been imaginatively converted from a farm s 17th century granary and now makes a wonderful base for a couple exploring the valley surrounding the secluded hamlet of Llanfihangel Nant Bran. Offering incredible views and fabulous rural walks, the area is ideal for nature lovers, with chances to spot red kites soaring overhead. The Epynt Way is within a couple of miles, encircling the Sennybridge Training Area and offering 50 miles of waymarked bridleways to explore. Heading south, the village of Sennybridge (4.5 miles) nestles on the edge of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park and has some friendly pubs. Brecon itself (9 miles) features a cinema, theatre, leisure centre and an array of shops, pubs and restaurants. This pretty and welcoming property can be accessed via a flight of external stone stairs. On entering, you will find yourself in the friendly, bright and stylish open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features characterful exposed beams set in the low sloping ceiling which also has skylights allowing the light to flood in. The attractive lounge provides an ideal space for relaxation at the end of the day. With comfortable seating, a wood burner effect electric fire, SkyTV and DVD the lounge is perfect for snuggling up together in the evening with a good book or a favourite movie. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an electric oven, microwave, fridge, small freezer and a washing machine. Nearby is the charming dining area which is a wonderful spot for enjoying a romantic meal for two. Exploring this lovely getaway further, you will find the delightful bedroom which features a double bed and a single bed with exposed beams in the low sloping ceiling. There is also a handy shower room complete with shower and WC. Outside, the patio garden is perfect for enjoying a BBQ in the evening. The property also has stabling and grazing for a horse or pony, with lush fields surrounding the cottage and miles of great rides straight from the door. Ample car parking is available, and there s also safe storage for mountain bikes. The property can be booked alongside a nearby property in the hamlet which can accommodate a further five guests.
