The area offers a number of historic market towns such as Hay on Wye, Clun, Ludlow and Leominster, across the border you will find an area steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles and countryside, Brecon Castle overlooking the River Usk and Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills. Step onto the terrace and enjoy the views across the Welsh mountains, the shepherds hut offers open plan lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area, the comfortable seating with coloured cushions, sits perfectly in front of the wood burner, and for a simple supper a gas oven and hob sits within sympathetic wooden work tops. For a peaceful night s sleep step up into the built in double bed where you can enjoy views onto the mountain range. There is also a shower room, with shower and an Eco WC outside the shepherds hut. The shepherds hut has been designed for entertaining and offers a spacious terrace where a table and chairs sits perfectly enjoying the views across to the mountains and open countryside, with a further seating area creating the perfect place for an evening with friends, feel free to roam the grounds with acres to explore. There is off road parking for two cars.
