Pop to Rhayader and the Elan Valley, visit Clywedog Reservoir and the Red Kites Feeding Station or head 20 miles west to coastal Aberystwyth and Borth. Perfect for a relaxing or action packed holiday. Walk up the wooden steps to the double doors opening into this cosy lounge/kitchen/sleeping area with underfloor heating, warming wood burner, interesting artworks and all the thoughtful little extras to make you re your stay very comfortable. The kitchen area has been creatively designed with a two ring gas hob, microwave oven, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Enjoy an invigorating hot shower as you ponder the day ahead, there is also an eco WC in the shower room. Start the day at the breakfast bar with eggs from the local chickens and freshly brewed tea. Take time to relax listening to the radio, open the doors to hear the birdsong and babbling river, check local events on your phone or snuggle up, light the wood burner, embrace the view and see magnificent sunsets. After a full day out close the blinds, pull back the duvet on the full size double bed and enjoy a good nights sleep. As you walk through the willow arch the view is breath taking leading to the table and chairs overlooking the river, a lovely spot for morning coffee or enjoy a BBQ in the private garden with fire pit, furniture and far reaching views. Enjoy fishing at the bottom of the garden in the River Severn (don t forget your rods), stroll along the famous 'Sabrina' walk by the river and explore the owners four acre small holding with chickens, orchard, wildlife pond and landscaped gardens. The garden also participates in the National Open Garden Scheme and is a conservation wildlife project, with rare birds and dragon flies. Ample private parking and if you are bringing your bike to ride Route 8, bike storage is available. Home grown vegetables and eggs are also available from the owners.
