There are also endless scenic cycle rides from the door. horse riding, golf and fishing can all be found locally. The town of Brecon ( 5 miles away ) boasts a leisure centre, cinema and theatre together with boat hire on the Brecon and Monmouth Canal. Beneath the wooden exterior of the lodge,is a fresh and contemporary property characterised by comfortable furniture and stylish decor. A welcoming open plan living area, with wood burner in the corner, offers views over farmland to the mountains. The well equipped kitchen area is a treat for budding cooks, who will appreciate the country cottage style cabinets and ample worktop space. A tasteful shower room with heated towel rail and WC complete the ground floor. Upstairs, the two elegant bedrooms are crisply dressed and thoughtfully accessorised, whether you opt for the king size bedroom or the cosy single room with an additional sofa bed. Back downstairs, step through the patio doors ready to unwind with drinks on the patio or a relaxing spell in the hot tub. Cyclists can lock up their bikes in the secure shed, which also houses a washing machine and drying area for wet clothes. The lodge is surrounded by farmland, so be sure to keep dogs on leads and supervise children at all times, especially around the small pool and stream.
