The Barn is situated at the end of a single track country lane that then becomes a "green lane" and is next door to the owner's cottage with a small traditional chapel a little further back up the lane. A perfect cottage to walk straight from the door; several pairs of Red Kite are resident along this valley and can usually be seen soaring overhead. The barn is 4 miles from Sennybridge, 3 miles from Defynnog with the closest village pubs and shops.

The downstairs of this recently renovated barn is open-plan with a lovely kitchen with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a dining table with chairs. The sitting area has two comfortable sofas and chairs. TV with Freeview and DVD.
There is a featured electric stove and lovely warm oak floor with underfloor heating. Large entrance hall with glass doors and fabulous lovely views across the valley and the rolling hills dotted with cottages and farmhouses. Ample room here for walking boots and coats.

With the stunning landscapes including the highest mountain in Southern Britain there are numerous places to visit including Blaenavon World Heritage Site, Dan-yr-Ogof Caves, Carreg Cennen Castle, Craig y Nos Country Park and the nearby picturesque waterfall - only a twenty minute drive away.
