This family cottage is less than 500 metres from the centre of the famous book town of Hay on Wye where you will find a host of independent bookstores, welcoming cafes and restaurants, and pubs serving local ales. Stroll the ancient streets and discover the ruined castle in the heart of the town. Less than 200 metres from your cottage is the famous walking trail of Offa s Dyke: pack a picnic and spend the day hiking the tranquil countryside. Ramble along the riverbank for a paddle at The Warren or take to the water on a kayak adventure along the River Wye. Hop in the saddle for a bike ride through the surrounding area, discovering the 12th century Llanthony Priory (11.5 miles).
