Brachkashie Cottage sits on edge of Loch Knockie in a beautiful setting with amazing views over the Loch. The cottage has been completely refurbished throughout to a very high standard. Private jetty and direct access to Loch Knockie including fishing rights for brown trout (fly only) during the trout fishing season. Walk through the front door and down the stairs into the main reception area and you will be taken into another world! The panoramic view of the loch and hills beyond is special. One of the regular guests describes it as the best view in Scotland.
There is an open plan sitting area with wood burning stove with french doors which lead to the spacious decking area. The kitchen features a Rangemaster cooker plus a new fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a Nespresso machine and milk frother! There is one refrigerator in the kitchen and a second large refridgerator/freezer in the laundry/utility room. Also in the laundry/utility room is a new washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of hanging space for coats plus a boot rack. There are storage cupboards and an additional sink.
There are 3 bedrooms comprising of a Master bedroom, a Twin bedroom and a single bedroom. The cottage has one bathroom and one shower room, both with hand basins and WC's and both enjoy underfloor heating. The cottage features a stunning deck with a large table where you can enjoy 'alfresco' eating. Steps lead down to the garden and the loch. The property includes the use of its own rowing boat and canoe. Guests use the boats at their own risk. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times. Loch Knockie is in a peaceful and tranquil setting and guests will enjoy an abundance of wildlife during their Highland holiday at Brachkashie.
