Set in the heart of the charming Kent village of Goudhurst, this property is within walking distance of the local shops and 3 pubs all with restaurants. Just a short drive away is the famous Sissinghurst Castle Garden created by poet and writer Vita Sackville West and her husband Harold Nicolson. Scotney Castle is also very close by and the perfect place to enjoy walks and cream teas. Beyond the village, Tunbridge Wells is well worth a visit with its selection of independent shops and cafes in the Pantiles area, while the nearby vineyards such as Sedlescombe make for a great day out. Keen walkers can explore the multitude of local footpaths nearby and for those looking to venture slightly further afield the fantastic Kent and East Sussex coastline is within driving distance. For those seeking some action and adventure, Bedgebury Forest is the perfect place to cycle or tackle the Go Ape assault course and Bewl Water offers plenty of water based activities. A wooden door brings you into a small private courtyard area and to the front door of this charming cottage. Stairs from the kitchen area lead up to the snug where there is a comfy sofa, chair and wood burner, the perfect place to retreat to after a long day. From here a couple of steps lead up to the bunk bedroom which is ideal for children, there s a separate WC and hand basin next to it and then a further set of steps lead up to the double bedroom with wonderful views over the rear garden.
