The picturesque village of Blakeney is a great base for exploring the stunning North Norfolk coastline. The village has a choice of places to eat and drink and is nestled in the beautiful Blakeney National Nature Reserve, which offers plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife including a fantastic array of seabirds and from Blakeney Point you can take a boat trip out to see a colony of grey seals. The charming village of Cley next the Sea is just a short drive or walk away and is home to the wonderful Cley Marshes Nature Reserve, as well as an 18th century windmill and a variety of shops and eateries. Blakeney Village is also situated on the beautiful north Norfolk Coastal path with wonderful walking and cycling opportunities. Le Corsaire is a refurbished traditional Norfolk fisherman s cottage, set back from the road. As you enter this property you arrive in a cosy, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven & induction hob, microwave, slow cooker, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and a washing machine. There is a dining table and chairs, perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The living area is cosy and features a wood burner for those cooler evenings, a large sofa and a smart TV which also has the full sky package including movies and sports, so this really is an ideal holiday home. There is a downstairs WC which is located off from the kitchen. Heading up the steep cottage style stairs, there is a small single bedroom which is accessed via the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed as well as an en suite shower room where you can revitalise your senses after a busy day out on the coast or indeed wake yourself up before you head out for a fun filled day. There is an outdoor courtyard area which is an ideal place to unwind and soak up the Norfolk sun. A table and chairs are provided along with a charcoal BBQ should you wish to enjoy some al fresco dining.
