Offering both direct access to some of the country's most stunning scenery and a number of picturesque villages and towns, there is ample to see and do nearby. For a walk on the wild side, verdant countryside and rugged moorland unravel and roll all around, offering up a network of footpaths and bike trails. 7 miles away, the incredible Brimham Rocks balancing rock formations are absolutely worth a visit, and 12 miles away, the pretty Gouthwaite Reservoir is a peaceful setting for a waterside stroll. A traditional Yorkshire stone barn, this fabulous accommodation boasts space, quality and style. Step in through the stable door and head into the generously sized lounge. A gorgeous arched floor to ceiling window affords beautiful views out onto the gardens and allows light to pour into the space. For cosy winter nights, a stone hearth framed wood burner floods the room with warmth, aided by luxurious underfloor heating. With a large, plush sofa and regal armchair, no expense has been spared. Cosy up together in front of the fire with a film and box of chocolates or relax and catch up as the fire crackles and music plays softly in the background. From the lounge, a few steps lead down to the kitchen/diner. A heated stone tile floor is dreamy underfoot, and the clean, contemporary design and beautiful countryside views are a winning combination. Equipped with a range of SMEG appliances, including a retro style fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, there is also an oven and hob and plenty of worktop space. A sure to be favourite amongst the younger members of your party, there is also an adjoining snug area with leather chairs and TV. Elsewhere, three grand bedrooms are furnished with their own en suite bathrooms. The first bedroom, located on the ground floor, has a super king size bed that can be made into two singles and an en suite wet room. Upstairs, the other two bedrooms have king size beds. One of these bedrooms has an en suite with a bath and power shower overhead and the other has a walk in monsoon shower. Outside, there is a stone patio with BBQ and a gravelled courtyard. A private pond and summer house are located within the owner's grounds in front of the property, however this is not for guest use. Please note, as with any open water, children and dogs must be supervised at all times around the pond.
