This lovingly restored house is in a pretty village in Northumberland s North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with views of open countryside and access to many local attractions. The picturesque town of Allendale (1.5 miles) has a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and interesting walking routes. Hadrian s Wall Country offers walking, cycling and Roman history. Spend time at the forts and museums of Vindolanda and Housesteads, and discover The Sill (all within 12 miles). Visit beautiful Hexham Abbey (9 miles) and enjoy strolling by the river and Sele Park, or have lunch in the Roman town Corbridge (15 miles) and stock up in the lovely food shops. Head to the coast for a day and pop to the Lake District, both about an hour s drive. Access this beautiful house via the conservatory where you can sit with your morning coffee looking out onto the patio and garden. Step into the spacious, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers the perfect space for relaxed family gatherings. After a day of exploring the area, you can rest and unwind on the comfortable seating in the lounge. The stone inglenook fireplace houses a large wood burner (first basket of logs provided) for cosy evenings, and you can enjoy a movie night watching the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make your meals, including a range style multi burner gas hob and double electric oven, a large fridge with freezer drawers, a microwave and a dishwasher. There is a small breakfast bar with a couple of bar stools and a comfortable sofa where you can sit with a drink to chat while dinner is being prepared. The large dining table can easily seat everyone for sociable mealtimes, plus a couple of spare chairs for guests. An archway leads to the hallway where two steps lead down to a shower room with a walk in shower and WC. Another door leads into the spacious utility room with a washing machine and a storage area for outdoor clothing and walking boots, as well as bikes. The door from this room takes you back to the front garden and parking area. Head upstairs to the bright landing to find the four beautifully presented bedrooms, each with zip and link beds which can be made up as twin beds on request. There are two super king size bedrooms each with an en suite shower and WC, a third super king size and a king size bedroom. The family bathroom features a shower over the 'P' shaped bath and WC, and there is an additional WC on this floor. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio area where you can dine alfresco, and a spacious lawned area to run around in. Private parking is off road for up to four cars.
