Guests can enjoy a walk up to Dunkery Beacon for breathtaking views, or explore the nearby village of Wheddon Cross with its local shop and pub.

The cottage itself features a cozy lounge/kitchen/diner area where guests can relax in front of the wood burner or watch TV/DVD. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, microwave, and fridge with ice compartment, perfect for preparing meals. Upstairs, the super king room can be converted into a twin on request, with a shower room also available on this floor. Wi-Fi is available but may be intermittent due to the location, and the property is not suitable for children under 16.

Outside, guests can enjoy an enclosed decked area with seating, as well as a private garden for outdoor dining. Off-road parking is available for one car, with separate lockable store cupboards for bikes and surfboards, laundry facilities, and a dog kennel and run for four-legged friends. The area offers plenty to explore, including the medieval town of Dunster, Valley of the Rocks, Lynton and Lynmouth, and the West Somerset Steam Railway, making it an ideal base for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in the countryside.
