The lovely village of Edington is situated between Street & Bridgwater and is perfectly located to explore this wonderful part of Somerset including the many RSPB Nature Reserves, easy access to the coast (10.7 miles) and the famous Cheddar Gorge (14.4 miles). From the property the well-stocked village shop is a few minutes’ walk whilst you have four pubs in under a mile and the award winning ‘Duck’ pub & dining just 2.6 miles away. Street and the designer outlet, Clarks Village, is under 8 miles away along with a range of additional shops and supermarkets. From The Hide you can easily visit the Quantocks, the Mendips - including Cheddar Gorge & Wookey Hole caves - Glastonbury, Wells and Bath as well as the many beautiful beaches the area has to offer. The Polden Hills offer the most wonderful views of the surrounding area and on a clear day you can even see Wales! This area is also an excellent base for exploring on foot with many walking trails nearby along with cycling and bird watching; The Hide is close to many RSPB Nature Reserves.
