For those wanting a traditional seaside holiday, the coast at Minehead is easily reached within a few minutes drive and offers an array of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops, family entertainments and access to the South West Coast Path. With exceptional countryside, and its own romantic castle standing on a wooded hillside overlooking the main street, the large village of Dunster is one of the West Country's prettiest. Nearby are a wealth of beaches, pretty villages and attractions that include Blue Anchor, Porlock, Lynmouth, West Somerset Steam Railway, Tropiquaria Zoo, Wildlife Safaris on Exmoor National Park and a day ticket can be purchased to enjoy the all weather attractions and swimming pools at Butlin's. Upon entering the immaculate accommodation you are greeted by a cosy and inviting open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, in the summer you can open the stable door to let the outside and views in. In the lounge area there are original beams from the mid 19th century and a beautiful feature stain glass window, here you can relax and watch your favourite programme on the TV or enjoy a DVD. The well equipped kitchen/dining area has an electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave, which is perfect for trying out new recipes or old family favourites. A beautiful chestnut wooden staircase leads up to the two bedrooms, set in the eaves, there is a double and a twin bedroom. You will also find the family shower room with shower and WC. Venturing outside you will have exclusive use of the secluded well kept lawned garden with seating, which is situated at the front of the property and is located at the end of a private quiet drive. To the side of the cottage is an enclosed private paved area with a useful outside hose, perfect for washing muddy boots or your four legged friend after a moorland walk. You are also very welcome to use the shared rear garden which overlooks open countryside and enjoys distant views to the sea at Blue Anchor Bay. Here there is a further seating area and if you re lucky you may get to meet the owner's resident tortoise. There is also a useful utility room next to the cottage which is shared with the owners with a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer compartment and is perfect for storing bikes securely.
