Peacefully tucked away within the owner s family run holiday park and less than a mile from the beach and coastal path. The beach is good for fossil hunting and wild swimming and is popular with local surfers in the winter. The park backs onto the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which offers endless walking opportunities. Head along the coast and visit Watchet (3 miles) with its marina, or the coastal town of Minehead (12.5 miles). Slightly further along the coast is the attractive village of Porlock (16.5 miles) and Porlock Wier. Dunster with its National Trust castle towering above it is a must see (9.5 miles), as is Hestercombe Gardens (15 miles) near Taunton. The front of the lodge is accessed via a single flight of steps. Step into the light and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with enviable far reaching sea views along the coastline and across to Wales, a perfect escape for families and couples alike. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the Smart TV. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, wine cooler and washing machine; it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. At opposite ends of the property lie the two bedrooms with sea view. They are both doubles with en suite shower rooms with showers and WCs. Outside, there is a large, enclosed decking area which wraps around three sides of the lodge. There is a smaller deck at the front with a "love seat", a walkway along one side of the lodge and a large deck at the back with far reaching sea views, where guests will find a large wooden table, bench seats and a rattan sofa, two chairs and table. Steps lead down into the enclosed garden, which is a great space for children and your four legged friend to play in. There is an indoor heated swimming pool on site that can be booked for guests private use free of charge for half an hour daily between 8am 5pm (bookings can be made directly through the owner).
