Situated on a quiet country lane and with views to the Quantock Hills, Rowditch is a thatched roofed cottage set in over an acre of secluded grounds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Most of the gardens are set to lawn with trees, shrubs and flowers with views to the north across the Bristol Channel to Wales and Exmoor to the west. Mature oaks and ashes surround the perimeters of the property creating privacy and seclusion. Three miles away lie the villages of Stogursey and Nether Stowey and the Quantocks and the coast are each one mile away offering a range of contrasting walks. Within easy driving distance are Glastonbury, Bath and Wells and closer to home are the market towns of Bridgwater and Taunton with theatres, cinemas and supermarkets. Mediaeval Dunster with its grand castle is 12 miles away and 2 miles on from there is the popular beach of Minehead also home to the theme park attractions of Somerwest World and the Somerset Steam Railway.
Located in Bridgwater, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Quantock Hills and WWT Steart Marshes, while Bakelite Museum and Admiral Blake Museum are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Walled Gardens of Cannington and Bishop's Lydeard Station. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing and swimming nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with horse riding and hiking.
