You can arrange to fly fish for trout or salmon along seven miles of this river, together with tuition in fishing or shooting if you wish. Nearby riding stables are the perfect opportunity for a canter across Exmoors heather hills. With the River Barle valley to explore and spot wildlife in, this is an ideal spot for outdoor activities, or if beaches are more your thing, head to Porlock or the surf at Saunton, Woolacombe or Croyde. For shops and restaurants, Dulverton is a fine old town with plenty to offer. With such stunning surroundings, Barn Cottage is an exceptional location for a wonderful break.
