This substantial waterfront property has been beautifully decorated throughout and is located right on the waters edge with glorious views across the Fowey estuary from the unspoilt village of Poluran. The quaint quay side is on the door step from where you can take a relaxing trip on the passenger ferry to the bustling and fashionable small port of Fowey which is flanked by fourteenth century blockhouses. Should you decide to leave the village to visit more of the area you will not be disappointed as there is so much to see and do, go for a walk on the beautiful coastal path to Lantic Bay then onto Polperro or even Bodinnick where you can catch the ferry back to Fowey and then Polruan. Also within reach is the Eden Project, Lost gardens of Heligan and towns of Looe, Charlestown and Mevagissey. There is always something going on throughout the year from the Fowey regatta to the Polruan carnival. Enter the property from the enclosed terrace into the light and airy entrance hall, from here you enter the lounge with many original features and views onto the sea, there is comfy seating around the stone fireplace where you can watch the TV, catch a film on the DVD or enjoy the selection of books and games. The dining room with exposed beams also benefits from unrestricted sea views, the large dining table (complete with ship's compass in the middle!) has ample room for everyone and the open fire is perfect for those chillier evenings making it nice and cosy for a family and friends social gathering or that special dinner. For some background music there is an iPod docking station with a switch box controlling separate sets of speakers in the dining room and living room. From here you enter the well planned contemporary kitchen, fully equipped with a double Rayburn, electric oven and hob, combination microwave, American style fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is a high bar table with bar stools and a flip down TV/DVD player, perfect place for reading the newspaper with a morning coffee or a glass of wine whilst keeping the cook company. Off the kitchen is a utility area housing the washer/dryer. If you have to catch up on work whilst away there is a study with a large desk and chair and views overlooking the water. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with shower and WC. Take the stairs to the first floor, with a wonderful chandelier and sea views, on this floor you will find three bedrooms, one double bedroom with en suite shower room with shower and WC, one twin room and one bunk room with en suite shower room with shower and WC. On the second floor are a further three bedrooms, the master bedroom with a four poster king size bed, this room benefits from having two doors with one linking to the bunk room which is perfect for parents with young children. One bunk room with en suite bathroom with bath and shower attachment and WC and one double with en suite shower room with shower and WC. Whilst the two bunk rooms have been furnished with children in mind, both are perfectly adequate for accommodating a single adult. All bedrooms have sea views and are all equipped with TVs. There is a spacious family bathroom with double ended bath, shower attachment and WC. To the front of the house is an enclosed paved terrace with patio furniture, a charcoal BBQ and unspoilt sea views, a perfect spot to relax whatever time of day.
