The Elizabethan port of Bideford, with its bustling quayside and choice of shops, pubs, restaurants and miles of magnificent waterside footpaths on the Tarka Trail (cycle hire available in Torrington and Bideford), is just a short drive away. The golden surf washed sands of Westward Ho! and the water sports centre of Instow are just a further 10 mins drive with Exmoor and Dartmoor easily accessible via beautiful scenic drives. Ideal location to explore the magnificent coastal scenery and delightful character towns and villages in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is now part of the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere.
