Named after the kiwi fruit crawling up the wall of the building, the cottage was built in the 1800s to sit opposite a then newly built canal. Popular village pubs line the banks starting under 100 metres away; take your pick from The Star and The White Hart to quench your thirst after a long walk, or book a hearty meal at The Travellers Rest. Further afield, embark on walks all the way up to the Brecon Beacons or discover the spectacular waterfall views of Lower Blaen y Glyn. This stone cottage oozes character, with its exposed brick features and brightly yet sensitively coloured decor. A pleasant galley kitchen has all you need to cook a favourite family meal. Then, relax in a rustic dining room with its charming stone mantle, oak beams and original flag floors. A generously sized sitting room emanates cosiness, with its exposed stone fireplace housing a wood burner for warming up in the cooler evenings. Upstairs, three plush bedrooms over two floors await after a long day of exploring. A cosy single and double bedroom each occupy the first floor, along with the nautical family bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, plus a separate WC. A master double room on the top level has sloping ceilings and simply unbeatable views over the canal and the valleys. Outside, sit and sip a glass of wine in the enclosed garden while pets and children can safely play. Handy mountain bike storage is situated in the garden, and ample roadside parking is next to the property.
