Cross House is a beautifully and lovingly restored stone farmhouse, in the centre of the small village of Llyswen. A perfect setting for families to enjoy the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.
Visitors staying at this lovely old farmhouse have everything on the doorstep with a village shop/garage and cafe within walking distance. Walk from the farmhouse door onto The Wye Valley Walk or enjoy the excellent fishing (permits from The Wye and Usk Foundation or Village pub), canoeing, biking and horse riding all within easy reach. The farmhouse is also an excellent place to stay if attending a wedding at the nearby award winning Llangoed Hall, a superb wedding venue beside the River Wye or just enjoy a pleasant afternoon tea. Llyswen is 8 miles from Hay on Wye, with the Hay Literary Festivalheld in May, 10 miles from the market town of Brecon and 12 miles from Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground.

A well equipped kitchen with a range cooker with double oven and grill and 5 ring gas hob, American style fridge/freezer, microwave, bread maker, dishwasher and TV; there is a long table with plenty of room to seat 8 people.
The adjoining utility room has a washing machine and highchair.
A downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
The main farmhouse living room has comfortable sofas and chairs, wood burner and CD player with aux cable.
The snug room, perfect for children, has a sofa bed, TV with DVD and Sky.
Up the original stone stairs to:
Bedroom 1: Double bed and en suite with shower, toilet and hand basin
Bedroom 2: Single bed with extra single bed.
Bedroom 3: Double bed
Bedroom 4: Single bed with extra single bed.
The family bathroom has a shower over the luxurious Jacuzzi spa bath, hand basin and toilet.
