Set in the heart of the village of Llanfrynach and close to the beautiful Church of St Brynach, this spacious cottage is perfectly positioned for exploring the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. There is a myriad of walking opportunities straight from the doorstep with the River Menascin running through the village for riverbank rambles and a lane leading straight into the Brecon Beacons. The Taff Trail Cycle Route passes through the village for traffic free bike rides across the scenic landscape. The cathedral town of Brecon (4 miles) is a short drive or pleasant walk away where there is a choice of independent shops, galleries and eateries. Discover the town s military history at The Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh and admire the architecture of the medieval cathedral. Boat hire is available on the canal or why not step onboard a narrowboat for a guided barge trip along the water. Get busy at Llangorse Lake where there are activities available both on and off the water. Hire kayaks, pedalos and sailboats to skim along the water, or sign up for a water skiing lesson. Test your head for heights at the climbing centre or fly like a bird on the zip wire trail. Enjoying a central location in this peaceful village, pull up into the parking space of this traditional stone cottage and step through the front door into the warm and welcoming property. There is plenty of space for provisions in the light and airy kitchen, which is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and a freezer. A short flight of internal steps leads to the elegant dining room where all eight guests can sit in comfort to share meals at the polished table. An archway leads through to the inviting sitting room, a generous space with exposed brickwork and neutral decor. Sink into one of the comfortable sofas and relax in front of the wood burner watching a favourite programme on SkyTV or listening to music on the iPod docking station. There is a stylish shower room with WC on this floor. Take the stairs to the first floor where there are four well appointed bedrooms, all tastefully decorated in soothing tones with bright soft furnishings and sloping ceilings. The family room has a king size bed and a single bed, making this ideal for those with younger children. There is a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a cosy single bedroom, all with ample storage. On the landing is a quiet reading nook, the perfect space to escape for a peaceful moment. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with corner bath, WC and separate walk in shower. Outside is a pretty courtyard garden with garden furniture. Off road parking is available for two cars.
