Head out for a tasty picnic by the nearby lake as you explore more of the natural surroundings across the fields and woodland areas. The local pub is just 2 miles away and you can find plenty of eateries and shops to restock the cupboards, in the market town of Newtown just 3 miles away. Enter into this fabulously refurbished cottage, through the front door and into the hall, where you can kick off your shoes and hang up your coats. Next to the hall is a spacious and bright shower room with a double headed shower and WC. Moving through the property you find that the downstairs level is beautifully opened up, showcasing the beautiful structural design and creating a lovely social space. The rustic country style kitchen with a traditional porcelain sink is well equipped with a gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Step through from the kitchen to gather around the dining table for a hearty feast or a game of checkers, before snuggling down on the soft leather sofas in front of the fire to catch up on your favourite TV shows. Head up the beautifully crafted open staircase to the first floor where you will find a large landing that doubles as a quiet reading space or study area. To your right is a bright and airy bedroom with a super king size bed which can also be made up as two singles and lovely French doors that lead out to a small balcony. Across the landing, you will find the family bathroom with a quirky French Sitz bath and WC. Finally, you have the master bedroom with a king size bed, chest of drawers and TV to enjoy those relaxing mornings with breakfast in bed. Outside, you have a large enclosed lawned garden with a separate patio area for the hot tub, BBQ and garden dining set. A spacious cabin with fold away bed is also situated in the garden and can be used as a fun kid s den to play games or hang out or as safe bike storage. There is plenty of space for off road car parking for several cars at the front of the property which is gated.
