There are many golf courses in the region, the closest of which is the London Beach Hotel in St Michaels along Chart Hills in Biddenden; if angling is more your style, there are numerous nearby fishing lakes, such as Green Acres, Cackle Hill, and Hawhurst Fishing Lakes. Rye is a wonderful town nearby that is certainly worth a visit; here you will discover the pleasures of Camber Sands and Dungeness, from which you can windsurf and kite surf, before uncovering the town's many historic structures, cobblestoned streets, and underground passageways that date back to the days of pirates and smugglers; don't forget to pay a visit to Kino, an independent cinema! The town of Hastings' Pier, Old Town, music scene, theatre, and picture house are all fantastic places to visit for sightseeing.
