This cosy Grade II listed, detatched period fisherman's cottage is situated on a cobbled path off Pier Road near the renowned Magpie Caf頡nd the pier. Although the cottage is near a busy and popular part of Whitby, its enclosed yard makes it a haven of peace. The cottage is full of character with many exposed beams and probably dates from the 18th century.
Accommodation: the accommodation is over three floors. Entrance through a gate into an enclosed patio/garden. Entrance, hallway. A few steps lead up to a cosy lounge with beamed ceiling, ornamental fireplace, dining area and open plan kitchen. Fairly steep cottage stairs lead to a bedroom with a double bed with lots of original exposed beams. Off the entrance hallway a few steps lead down to a second bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobes and a spacious shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin.
Services: small fridge with icebox, ceramic hob with electric grill/oven and extractor hood, microwave, washer/dryer. Colour TV with Sky freeview, video and DVD, radio/CD player. Gas central heating. Bed linen is provided. A travel cot is provided. Non-smokers only! Sorry, no pets. Spacious, enclosed South facing patio/garden with garden furniture.
