Threp'nybit Cottage is perfectly situated for a family of all ages in a wonderful remote position within the North York Moors National Park providing stunning panoramic views over the moors. Cosy up in front of the wood burning stove or, when the sun is shining, enjoy an alfresco dinner on the patio overlooking East Moors and Bilsdale in the distance.
This pretty farm cottage featuring exposed beams and a wood burning stove, provides an open-plan living area on the ground floor along with the master bedroom with en-suite shower room; with a second bedroom and family bathroom on the first floor. Every window frames the local views perfectly in this delightful cottage for four guests.
Threp’nybit Cottage is ideally located to take advantage of the numerous, beautiful walks throughout Ryedale and the North York Moors. There are public footpaths close to the farm which link up to walks in Riccaldale, as well as the Helmsley, Bransdale or Bilsdale areas, without even having to take your car out of the drive!
The picturesque and popular destination of Helmsley is the nearest town with many shops, galleries, pubs, cafes, restaurants, takeaways and even a brewery. Attractions include a mediaeval castle, walled garden, luxury spa, bird of prey centre, outdoor swimming pool (summer months only) and a children’s play area.

Due to the nature of the cottage, a stair gate can only be fitted at the bottom of the stairs. We ask those staying with infants requiring a stair gate to occupy the ground floor only.
