Rich in history, it was once the local pub and dates back around 150 years, it even has the original wide staircase that the barrels would roll down ready to be tapped for the thirsty locals. Its the perfect base for families and friends alike to get away from it all and enjoy Pembrokeshire. Laying peacefully in a small valley near the hamlet of Clynderwen, here you can find a local shop, train station and pub with a plethora of local ales to try. The bustling market town of Narberth is a 5-minute drive, here you can enjoy the many boutique, craft and antique shops, alongside a vast array of eateries ideal for a spot of lunch or an evening meal to celebrate that special occasion.
This detached cottage has been renovated throughout in 2021 to a high standard and whilst retaining many original features including wood beams and vaulted ceilings. The open plan kitchen/dining room is the perfect social space with easy chairs to relax in and chat whilst diner is being prepared. The modern farmhouse kitchen boasts a large breakfast bar, Belfast sink, solid oak flooring and leads through to the large living room with original beams, vaulted ceilings and solid oak flooring. This room really is beautiful, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and a good movie. There are 3 bedrooms, each bedroom has been lovingly furnished and offers a good level of comfort. On an evening you can relax in the enclosed garden, you can also dine al fresco here too.
Square & Compass is the perfect central location to explore the sublime Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with its many stunning beaches, dramatic cliffs and picturesque coves. It’s not to be missed and also offers great countryside walking from your doorstep. A 15-minute drive away is the coastal resort of Tenby surrounded by medieval walls built to fortify the town and are still in place to this very day, compete with arches into the town leading to cobbled streets and beautiful harbour. Folly Farm Zoo, Heatherton World of Activities and Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, are all within 40 minutes’ drive and perfect for all the family to enjoy.
