This property enjoys a quiet rural location on the owners' working farm in the North Yorkshire countryside, on the south eastern edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are many miles of leisurely country walks to be enjoyed direct from the property's front door, including the enjoyable walk around Lindley Reservoir which will be of particular interest to wildlife enthusiasts as the area is home to a large number of bird species including goldcrest and woodpeckers. To the north east of the property, within a 20 minute drive, the spa town of Harrogate is a fantastic place for a day trip, as are the wonderful gardens at RHS Harlow Carr which visitors will pass on the way into the town. Several stone steps lead up to the front door of this farmland property, opening into the open plan living space, comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner. The main part of the room is taken up by the lounge area which offers comfortable sofas as well as a TV/DVD. The kitchen area occupies the right hand side of the room, next to which there is a dining table seating four guests. The kitchen area itself is equipped with everything that guests will need to make themselves at home including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. As the property is all on one level, doors from the lounge lead through to the bedrooms and the bathroom. Both bedrooms are spacious rooms which have been simply yet elegantly furnished with pine wardrobes and complementing dressers. The master bedroom is a super king size room which can be made up as a twin on request, whilst the second bedroom is a delightful king size room which can be made up as a twin on request which looks out over the rear of the property. The shower room, meanwhile, offers a walk in shower with a small step up and down and a WC. Outside, the property enjoys a good sized rear garden with hot tub, which is mainly set to lawn and offers views over the neighbouring fields which can be enjoyed from the garden furniture provided. There is bike storage available as well as off road parking for two cars. For those who would like a taster of farm life, the owners are happy to arrange private tours of the state of the art milking parlour.
