Thanks to the location of the magnificent Tor y Foel forest just beyond the back garden, your adventures don t have to take you far while staying at this property. Just over 1 mile away, the village of Talybont on Usk has three pubs to choose from, not to mention a fantastic bike hire centre. The 55 mile long Taff Trail happens to run close by, perfect for cyclists and walkers alike, or if you prefer more water based travel, boat hire is always available along the nearby River Usk. The picturesque Talybont Reservoir (2 miles) is the largest still water reservoir in the Beacons, and other popular walks include the Blaen y Glyn Waterfalls and the Henry Vaughan Walk. No matter what the weather s doing, this charming farmhouse is always a pleasure to come home to. On sunny summer mornings, a relaxed start in the brightly lit sunroom is an absolute must, while on chilly winter evenings, the double aspect wood burner and underfloor heating will provide all the cosiness and warmth you could possibly need. When it comes to preparing meals, the traditional kitchen with its Range Master oven, fridge and microwave is the perfect homely setting, and the finished product can be enjoyed by all around the elegant dining table. On the upper floor the two bedrooms can be found, both featuring double beds and convenient en suites, one with a double walk in shower and WC, and the other with a corner bath and WC. The exterior of the accommodation is just as grand as the interior, boasting a large garden with breathtaking valley views as well as a BBQ and several different seating areas.
